Are You Looking To Help A Child In Need?

Each week Wigs for Kids receives hundreds of ponytails from donors looking to help a child in need of a wig. Jeffrey Paul Hair Restoration Center, in Partnership with Wigs for Kids, will be hosting a day for volunteers to help us open hair donations letters, sort and rubber band donated hair, and/or do data entry to send thank you letters to generous hair donors. Please join our team, at Jeffrey Paul Hair Restoration Center, by volunteering to help us expedite a free wig for a child in need, while also thanking those who have the heart to give their hair!

Saturday, July 30th

Summer Style Workshop Is Coming…

Don’t worry, Jeffrey Paul Hair Restoration Center can help!We will be offering a FREE styling workshop. This 60 minute workshop will take place on  Monday, July 25th at 6:30pm. Whether you are wearing hair, using our Trichology services or coming in for regular haircuts and color services – this workshop is ideal for you! We will take our guests through some summer make-up tips, styling tips and introduce our guest to some great new products to help your styling routine. Plus, you will have the opportunity to win gifts the night of the event.

In order for us to give more personalized attention to each guest attending, this workshop will be limited to 25 participants.  For registering,  you will receive 20% off any, and all  items purchased the night of the workshop.  So make sure to sign up today and start getting the look you want!

Women… It’s Time To Come Together

One out of every four women are experiencing some form of hair thinning. What most of those women don’t realize is that they are not alone. As a woman, you relate to other women, you empathize, sympathize, support and care for one another. It is easy, and important for a woman, to be able to share about her life, feelings and relationships. As a woman, you need this as it makes you feel more whole and complete and most important – not alone.

However, when it comes to talking about something as sensitive as hair loss, many times I find that the women I see,on a regular basis, don’t want to talk about it…not even with other women…not even if it meant finding a solution. This in turn leaves many of these women feeling very alone and stuck.

Let me be the first to tell you that if you are experiencing hair loss and have either found or not found a solution – you are NOT alone! On Tuesday, September 29th my center will be offering a styling class. This is an opportunity for women, both who have found a solution and who are considering a solution to come in and be with women who are just like you. It is your opportunity to not only get some great hair tips, but to meet women who can relate to exactly what you are going through. To tell their stories of what they went through before for finding a solution and now that they have a solution. This is your opportunity to not only take advantage of helping your hair look great, but to never feel alone again!

A Day at the Zoo Recap

What a weekend! It was a whirlwind of excitement, ponytails, rain, sweat, cows (!) and a whole lot of fun! We’d like to send a special thank you to everyone who came out for our annual fundraiser at the Cleveland Zoo to support the Wigs for Kids mission!

The day started out rather dreary with some rain showers, but with your help we had a fabulous day regardless! (It turns out some runners prefer to run in the rain…who knew!) Over 1,000 participants came out to run/walk the 5k to the finish line where we had the Chick-fil-A cows, and an entire league of superheroes waiting! With your help we raised approximately $77,000 dollars to help provide wigs for 20, 2013 recipients!

Wigs For Kids Zoo Walk – Join to Make a Difference

Do you remember our friend Emma? Emma is a 2013 Wigs for Kids hair recipient this year! Because each hair replacment costs $1,800 to create we rely on your donations and our annual Zoo Walk to be able to give all of our recipients a FREE wig!

If you’re going to be in Cleveland in two weeks help us raise money for more children to receive wigs by creating a team and signing up to join the Wigs for Kids 8th Annual Zoo Walk at the Cleveland Zoo, it’s a great time and a great cause!
